I'm curious if anyone has successfully modified the GA-400 light to make it brighter?
I have a GA400GB-1A with a 16mm --> 22mm NATO band adapter, bullbars, and screen protector.
Its great in the daylight but the light is horrible at night.

For the time and money you need to spend to modify the light, might as well get yourself an upgrade. The GA400 was before Casio pushed out dual LEDs to analog-digitals. The GA800 was the first in the GA series to have dual LEDs that lit up both the watch face and the LCD screen.

Here's the GA810B-1A9 with a little bit of bling like your GA400GB-1A.

Thanks Watch_Geekmaster. I didn't realize the difference between the GA400 and GA800 lighting. I was attracted to the GA400 for the easy access wheel to set countdown time and toggle between timezones. In the meantime, I do
g-fob2's flashlight mod. :)
