Montblanc 1858 Geosphere in stainless steel, black dial, black bezel

Condition-wise the watch is 95% new as it has been worn very little. There are maybe just the faintest micro marks on the polished section of one lug and on the underside of one lug from the strap changes that I did. A few small marks here and there, but nothing that takes away from the beauty of this watch. The movement and all functions are working as they should. The watch is keeping time within +/- 2 sec/day. The original Montblanc leather strap is in nice, barely worn condition.

The butterfly clasp is interesting because it actually has 7 micro adjustments on it that are 1.2mm each. I had never seen a butterfly clasp for a leather strap with micro adjustments before. It is a very unique, patented design by a Swiss manufacturer. It’s by far the best butterfly clasp on a watch band that I have ever seen!

There’s also a lot to get excited about with the watch itself. Specifications are:

Case Diameter: 42.0 mm
Bezel Diameter: 43.2 mm
Diameter with Crown: 45.1 mm
Thickness: 12.9 mm
Lug to Lug: 52.3 mm
Lug Width: 22.0 mm
Sapphire crystal
Fully lumed hands, numbers, and globes
Ceramic bi-directional compass bezel
GMT second time zone hand at 9 o’clock
World time globes for both hemispheres
Jumping hour hand for quick time zone changes

This sale is for the full set, box and papers. The paperwork is signed by an employee of Montblanc that the watch endured 500 hours of testing before being released for sale. The warranty card is stamped and signed by an authorized dealer – however the owner’s name and date section of the warranty card are both still blank.

I am asking $3,650 net to me via PayPal or bank wire transfer. I have several sales and purchases on this forum. Contact by e-mail is best at [email protected]. CONUS buyers only please. Point of clarification for eBay users: yes, this same watch is for sale on eBay by "captkurk". That's me. I've been on eBay since 1998 (hard to believe!) and do sell there, but their selling fees are higher so the cost through that platform is higher. Solution: e-mail me directly.

Bump, price dropped... Great price, I can't find the watch cheaper anywhere else.
