Hi Andrew and welcome!

Looks like you have a great quality pocket watch.

Im not going to be much help with the info you require... put please read the stickies at the top of the Vintage/Pocket Watch page and you will see why we cant give 'valuations'.

As for informative details, hopefully someone with better knowledge will come along soon..... A photo of the Movement would certainly help!

Patek Philippe Pocket watch
I would like to know when this watch was made?
Is the gold 18k or 24k?

How much do these sell for?
Thank you!!

Andrew
The Gold content should be stamped on the inside caseback; I'd have a qualified jeweler open it to have some good pictures taken if you really want to to know more about it. Also, you can probably send the serial numbers to Patak directly to get information on when it was made and what it contains.

How much a vintage watch will sell for is a challenging question in the first place; having a name like "Patak Philippe" on it makes it even more challenging. If that's the original box, that would make it more valuable. If you have any of the original documentation, that ups it again. But the final value would depend on where and how you sold it; Ebay would get you a much different price then a quality auction site, I'd imagine. At best, all you can get up front is an appraisal, and with an item like this, you'd want a professional appraisal done by someone who isn't going to try to rip you off. Don't EVER sell your watch to the same person that told you what it was worth unless you have multiple appraisals by different people.
