I'm usually wearing an Aerostitch Roadcrafter 2pc suit, and gloves with gauntlets, which make wearing a bulky watch impractical and uncomfortable. Si right now, Dagaz Thunderbolt for local rides and commuting, Seiko SBQJ017 if I'm heading west for a long ride.

However, I usually have a Casio MQ24 strapped to whatever bike I'm riding. Currently, an 09 Ducati Multistrada 1100s.

I've taken to wearing my Hamilton khaki field mechanical lately. It's thin and fits nicely under my gloves and leathers. I have the time on my instruments so I don't need to see it while I'm actually riding.

Tried... Uncomfortable. Gloves will not zip over. Even went to wearing the watch upside down (head on the bottom of my wrist) while riding, still uncomfortable. Also reading a thread here on skiing got me thinking; damn if I go down not only am I gonna eff this watch up but the watch is gonna break ma damn wrist!

I've gone to sticking the watch in a travel case for the ride

yup...pretty much what I do, too. I have a Eco-Drive velcroed atop my clutch master
with a safety lanyard on a quick release. when I dismount, I just unclip and carry it
like a pocket watch on a small biner to my belt loop

I wear a Tag Aquaracer when I ride. It’s my only quartz watch and with all the vibration I figured it would hold up better than some automatics. But, I don’t like fumbling with my gloves/riding jacket to see the time. Currently, looking for a rubber strapped watch with Tritium to put around the triple trees. So far a Praetorian is the forerunner. Ride safe

When I ride it's out on country roads sport riding and the last thing I want is a watch getting all the vibrations, or scratches from protective gear (textiles especially) or suffering from the wreck that is inevitable in the sport. Not to mention when I'm out riding, I don't care, and I don't want to know what time it is. So I leave it at home.

I don't have a specific motorcycling watch, I just wear whatever one I happen to feel like wearing that day. I've crashed plenty of times and never had a scratch on any watch I was wearing at the time. You guys do wear gloves, right? Also, if a watch can't withstand a little vibration while riding, I wouldn't want to own that watch anyway. Mountain biking may be a different story, much more chance to damage the watch in a crash unless you're wearing gloves with a decent wrist gauntlet.

Bumping this thread after it being dormant for a year and a half!

I got back to motorbiking after 10 years and did things differently this time! I bought a motorbike with a colour scheme for a watch I already had. I bought my Honda CB350RS recently based on a collection favourite of mine, the yellow and black Casio G-Shock GA2110 (Casioak)

The watch

The motorbike

I just booked my Candy Green Kawasaki Z650RS last month and a couple of days ago I picked up a Certina DS Action Day Date in Jade-Green. It was a sales forum purchase. I guess the watch will reach me quicker than the bike.

Here's me on the bike.

Here's my watch. (Images from the Certina Website)
