Up for sale is a Movado Series 800. This is the Swiss Quartz 84 C2 1895.1 (red dial model on a rubber strap with a deployant buckle). These were advertised by Movado using Tom Brady and Derek Jeter back in the mid 2000s.
This watch has a unidirectional diver’s bezel that has a solid click and zero play. The bezel and case have light marks from normal use, but the only scratches of note are a few desk diving marks on the clasp and a small scratch from the jeweler opening the case back to install a new battery. All marks are visible in the photos. I have included a photo of it on my 7.25” wrist for context.
Two of the best features of this watch include the date window and the lume. The color of the date wheel is perfectly matched to the red wave dial. I wish more companies would do this. The lume is as bright as my Omegas and Seikos. The markers are applied, and the hands are wide which helps make them shine nice and bright.
