After wearing, buying, modding and collecting (There! I said it!) Casios and G-Shocks in particular, I received my first MR-G yesterday.
It is the German version (DW 8900) of the MR-G 100.

My questions are as following:

How is the resin ring fixed to the case / caseback? I don´t want to damage it, but would like to do a complete teardown for a torough cleaning and refurbishing.

Does anyody have a pic of the watch without that ring?

How is the bracelet ficed to the case? It looks like push pins, but with all the grime I am not sure, might be screws, too?

Are pins for the strap available? should be split pins like used on many SS bracelets. any hints to where to get some?
The bracelet will fit, but only if I use all links provided and I am missing one of the pins.

Thanks in advance!
I´ll try to update with pictures soon.

The resin ring just clips on. You can just pry it loose.

The bracelet attaches with a collar and pin system. Easy to do if you have a cheap pin pusher.

The links attach with split pins. They are readily available, just Google them.

Thanks!
I just wanted to make sure before I start to disassemble this nice watch.
It needs a good clean and I´d like to have the moduel out for that as I am not sure about the WR in the present state.

I´ll have a look if I can harvest one of the pins out of a spare bracelet.
