I just bought a $32 (¥4,000) solar powered watch. For that price how could I resist? It's a SmileSolar, Q&Q -TIME FOR EVERYONE-, and it's lots of fun. Light weight, so far very reliable, water resistant and cute, I'm enjoying having it on my wrist.

This is the most inexpensive solar powered watch that I've ever seen.

Hi,

Very nice!!

The display rack reminds me of my trip to Tokyo in 2009....totally unknown language, we had to imagine and deduce what was written everywhere!!

Your watch looks like it is made by Citizen, most likely an Ecodrive movement inside, for the price paid, really hard to beat.

The watch style they propose looks similar to Swatch on their website, but with solar power....Citizen should market those in Europe and America, they could give Swatch some serious competition in the casual/fun/trendy watches style.

Cheers!!

Looks good! How's the readability of the dial? In your first pic, the hands contrast nicely with the dial, but in the rack shot it's hard to even see the hands.
The readability on the blue watch that I bought is medium. The contrast between the hand color and watch face color is greater on other Q&Q watches, though. The red face one is noticeably more readable.
