I got my first Alpha watch today. It's their homage piece to the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. So far, I love it. It's my first Chinese mechanical.

I changed the stainless bracelet out for a leather strap with orange stitching. I prefer that look for the Planet Ocean.

I think my next purchase will be the Seagull 1963 Reissue.

WELCOME to the Chinese mechanical Watch forum at WUS, deldred.

The Planet Ocean is a very good looking watch and one of Alpha's best known pieces. Plus, you made a terrific strap choice.

Well done!

Thanks. I've been wanting to buy an Alpha. I have been a lurker here for a couple years. I now had a reason to post.

Awesome pick up. Black and Orange is awesome and I love the strap you picked for it. Wear it in good health friend.

Thanks. I do have a couple of Alphas too. I have a modded Grenade and a coke bezel GMT. They are both great watches. I like Seiko for my mod projects because there are so many parts available. I like your Alpha PO. Wear it in good health.

Interesting to see the Alpha's second hand loose three seconds from 30 to 60 and then gain everything from 60 to 30 compared to the Invicta.
