Just picked up my first Panerai... Never thought my first one would be a manual wind PAM 00292, nor did I think it would be a radiomir (I'm a much bigger fan of the 1950 collection), but recently I have developed a nice collection of black watches, so what the heck why not! Any pam 292 fans here?

Welcome to the Paneristi and our small but enthusiastic WUS group.

Enjoy your first Pam, and now select your Luminor to keep it company.

What your thoughts on smaller 40-42 mm models coming to market now?

Got to see and try some on in the flesh. I have a smaller wrist so thought I would gravitate towards the smaller Pams but I prefer the "regular" sized ones. It's a watch that's meant to be worn large anyways

Great way to start off! That is an amazing looking watch, and great looking strap.

I always thought that my first Panerai would be a Radiomir. Now, I ended up getting a Luminor first. While I was at the Boutique, I was hugely tempted, though, by a Radiomir PAM00424.

Anyway, congratulations. The Radiomir does wear large on the wrist, I find. But I also find it is the only watch that I actually like to be that way!

Hope you enjoy yours a lot.
