Can anyone explain how the hands get scratched on these vintage watches?
Does it happen during service?

Good for you! I've got one from 1986, and I think it's a very classy piece of gear. For some folks, it's a bit small, but I appreciate the "vintage" vibe. Many of the watches coming out in the last few years have WAY too much stuff on the dial, and have grown to really silly dimensions... DSCF3714.JPG
