How many pairs of shoes have you bought this past month? (of course you'll be celebrating your victory and admiring your new watch while sleeping on the sofa!!)

Or there's always the non-confrontational approach: "Diamonds, that'll shut her up!" (just don't get caught admiring the lume of your new watch while, er, receiving "thanks" for the diamond. That'll land you on the couch too and have you cooking for yourself also.)

Haha yeah most AD's here will actually give you about 40% off so it isn't that bad it was just that store. I still look out for local deals but I think I am going to buy my next watch (probably an orange monster) online.

I watched this seller for a while and just grabbed the opportunity when I saw one
Usually the OM bids close at ~$135 + $28 shipping. I paid for mine for $122.5 + $28 shipping. Just for comparison - the cheapest local store I could find, sells the OM's for $400 (!!!).

Things to do:
1. Get a Black Monster
2. Get a Diplomat Dual Watch Winder
3. Sit there and watch them wind
4. Figure out which one you're going to wear

I am also an Orange Monster owner (bought it 8hours ago). Its comfy, solidly built, handsome and useable in the dark.

I really like this green / orange combination. Very sharp-looking watch on that strap.

The Monster was my biggest surprise Seiko. I ordered it but wasn't really sure I was going to like it. As soon as I put it on I knew I made the right decision.

Nothing can be more exciting to us when a watch arrives ;-)
