Just bought my first Oris: An Oris Artelier Moonphase with a black face.

One problem - when I wake up in the morning the watch has stopped. Not that it's too much trouble to reset it, but I was under the impression it would AT LEAST last through the night until I put it on again.

Am I doing something wrong?

The other day I wound it with about 10 turns of the crown in the morning and wore it for about 12 hours at work. Shouldn't that be enough?

Maybe not. Wind it 40 times and see how you get on. The 12 hours at work, especially if at a desk, may only just be enough to keep it topped up, and overnight, those 10 winds of the crown aren't enough to last.
