So I will be taking a few flights this year and I really only have one high end watch and a casio and am contemplating getting a nice watch for traveling and what not . Not looking to go too overboard, max would be $1100 or so. Prefer a stainless steel since my nice watch is on a leather strap already. I would prefer an automatic, open to suggestions! Thanks in advance.

What's the "high end" watch as we wouldn't want to duplicate it in our suggestions?

Luminor Marina is my main watch. I would love a GMT, couldn't find one I really liked though. I was looking at the Hamilton Day Date, white face on steel or even their Intra-Matic (although I think it looks much better on a band than on steel bracelet).

the one I am leaning towards most at the moment is the Daniel Wellington on a NATO strap, it is clean looking and priced very attractively. Only downside for me is that it is quartz...
