Hi all watch experts. I have a question for you all as I cannot seem to figure out the year on this vintage Helbros Invincible.

Googled the info and seem to fine a wide range of years. Would appreciate if the best in the world could help me figure this out

Dial indicates Helbros Invincible and stamped at the bottom is “France”

I don’t know if there is much value in this but it looks to be a nice time piece.

It is probably from the 1950s, but that is mainly speculation based on the style. Comprehensive information about brands such as Helbros are not always readily available. Photos of the inside could possibly help. If it's really important, you could try searching for catalogs or advertising.

Appreciate your help! I can get a photo of it’s internals in a second.

I would go with 60's. That is a Lorsa movement and as far as I know they were not used much if at all in the 50's.

Thanks Thoth! By chance would you happen to know if there is any value in a France made Helbros?

I would suggest searching completed sold Helbros Invincible on eBay.

Yeah, I'd go with 60s due to the style. I never saw that movement before (probably a P75?), and then over the last few weeks worked on 3-4 of them. As far as value.. same old response.. go on Ebay and research it.

Not much value. You would pay 5X what it is worth to service it and even serviced its not worth quite half what you would pay for a service. But thats no knock on the watch because IMO these are great watches they just hold no value yet.
