The house of mud is now complete. I have every mudman except the atomic, which I may pic up in the future. I was worried that the negative display was going to be an issue, and it really has't turned out that way. I have 50 year old eyes and in most situations I can see the display just fine. Seldom do I need instant time recognition in dim lighting, so a twist of the wrist to catch some light or pop on the EL isn't a big deal for me. Any downside to legibility is overruled by how cool this watch looks, especially in the dark.

Time to branch out, think the next item of business is going to be a GW5600BCJ or some variation of a PAW1300.

Quick early morning pics, I need more coffee.

Nice Mudman. :-! I don't find the display too bad on this one either.

Congrats, Newton, with all the show-n-tell, I'm getting that urge to visit retailers tomorrow....

That mudman inverse was my very first G-Shock purchase as a watch collector and I joined this forum shortly after that. Its also my fave G-9000 configuration.

Wear it well!

Well met Sir Newton, but truth be told, I don't fancy the atomic Mudman, all those eyes on the watch face makes it look kinda' weird. I guess you could hold your purchase on that one and just enjoy the rest of the regular Muds.
