I'm betting with the digital it would have CDT was well. Definitely a classy ana/digi. Most of the atomic solar ana/digis didn't look quite so manly. Very nice.

 - just to clarify: this is a model NEWLY available (at Seiya); it's not something I have just bought new.

It is not that I do not like it, it is just that I do not think it is as good looking as my MTG-1000G. There is something about the little digital dials that I do not care for. Also, the MTG-1000 does have a 60 minute CDT.

Casio should have used EL backlight for the digital display instead of using LED. :-s

User can't see the digital display even with the LED light activated. :-(

Otherwise, it's a lovely G.

Cheers,

I don't like those 'mixed' bracelets, but's that's a pretty legible dial / display for an ana-digi. Could do well - even at a price that is higher than I would want to go.

It's definitely demanded a lot of attention from this forum, but I think it's probably a love-it or hate-it model for many of us. I think there's a thread somewhere in here about that...

Well for my 2cents worth I like it alot, but what I like even better is the
Oceanus OCWT400TD1AJF. Just a cleaner all around look (IMHO).
Regards Steve ps I'm in trouble with the wife anyway's I purchased a watch from another forum member Sunday night, Seiko Solar Atomic.
Not sure except for a wedding gift she has never given me a watch so hope it means I will find one under the tree, wish me luck everyone.

The mixed bracelet is used as part of the shock absorbing structure. I actually like the looks.

for some reason i think the MTG series should stay analog. this one is not doing anything for me. sorry but thanks for sharing !!!
If I understand correctly, the MTG series started out as a digital. Then it added analog. Do not misunderstand, for an upper crust watch, I prefer analog, digital just doesn't seem to have the right connotation. I think it is primarily the execution of this particular model that does not work for me. That is my opinion, and others will surely disagree.

i would think so too but when i went to Perfect Search, the first MTG is a analog and a good looking one too but the model number is

GC-2000-1A came out in Nov'99

the first MTG that have the MTG code is the MTG-500-1AJF

here a full list of the MTG series

but if ure thinking the first high-end Gs that came out digital, that would be the MRG series
