Are you hoping they will notice you for a moderator job?It got removed by an administrator/ moderator.
May I remind everyone here that according to forum rules, this type of discussion is not allowed either.
If you feel a need to know the details then you should pm a moderator via private message.
Personally I believe they removed the previous thread because it spoiled all the fun of the upcoming release. To me this behavior is a confirmation that what was discussed was all true.
I was refering to openly questioning and debating moderators reasons for removing threads. Their actions are not open for debate. There is absolutely nothing in the WUS forum rules or indeed the specific Grand Seiko Forum rules that was violated.

It's perhaps poor form to just delete the thread without any explanation, even commenting and locking it would have been a little better but of course I have no idea what gets said or agreed to behind the scenes.
Maybe someone might like to start a similar thread discussing it somewhere else, perhaps the Seiko & Citizen forum, or even F2, as those are non-sponsored forums.
Hate to break it to you, but nobody looking to flaunt their wealth in front of others is going to be buying anything Seiko; GS or otherwise.I certainly would prefer to keep the "Seiko", but can understand why Seiko wants to remove it. It's a pity though, for someone who needs to rub his wealth under peoples noses there are plenty of other options in the watch world.
Seriously Agree... I've been saying that forever. Actually Spring Drive don't need PR at all.. it is not at all connected. It has just 72 hours PR which is no great shakes. It is like let's 'ruin' the design by placing PR on the dial. There is no other reason to ruin a perfect dress watch dial than to ruin it and distinguish it with other Automatic watches.Cool. Since they're listening, maybe we'll get the PR moved to the back, and a 40mm spring drive diver that's under 12mm thick.![]()
The logo isn't "new", it's just that exactly what is on the current GS watches directly under the hands, the stacked "GS" and "Grand Seiko" in gothic font, are moved up to where "SEIKO" used to be. It's horrible IMO, but that's what you allllllllll wanted, right? RIGHT?? *sobbing*
It'll go a little way to appeasing the many who believe that "Seiko GS Grand Seiko" is too many "Seiko" words. But damn them, I like the word Seiko![email protected] Domo
That is what I am thinking too.. but I will try to hold my tears until I saw some real pictures, but then..uncontrolled...sobbing..
"omg, what happened, did you lose your job?"
"no, worse"
"is something with the family??"
"NO, I said it is worse!"
"What is it?"
"Seiko removes the word Seiko on their Grand Seikos!"
"Oh.. let me call that divorce lawyer my friend told me about"
But seriously - I really hope I like it, because I am really afraid that the dial might get too clean and I always wanted a SBGR053..but not after my Snoflake/Iwate dilemma is solved, and that means next year probably and even if my AD has a SBGR in stock for like.. a few months now, I do not think it will last till I have the funds together to buy another one
