I love how everybody jumped to conclusions. Everything has to be a conspiracy these days. These technical occurences have happened before. I guess some missed those.

Can someone explain what happened to the thread regarding the above? It was taken down for some reason, but why? Rumor, truth, absolute lie? It would be nice if someone explained.

The point of time is irrelevant. The real point is an administrator acknowledged threads as missing and didn't state that the GS one was one that shouldn't have been started. He included it in a statement about trying to recover threads. Yep.For what it's worth, the thread disappeared well before yesterday and the time frame indicated by stuffler. Like, before this past weekend.
Going independent. Completely separating themselves from Seiko. They are obviously heading towards a very intentional direction, and I'm now interested in GS.
