It's a good looking watch. I really like the brushed steel dial and the raised numerals. Perfect case size too (39mm). Sapphire crystal, an American 28800 bph movement, and Horween leather strap. The price seems fair to me.

Except those Miyotas, boring and plain as they may be, are crazy accurate and super thin. None of that -10 / +30 stuff.

It's a bit chunky at 12.4mm

Very curious about this new movement. I wonder if they are sourcing springs from Seiko or Swatch Group or are they making their own?

About the "American" movement I found this comment on reddit:

"I'm an independent watchmaker in AZ. I reached out to FTS last year to inquire about the Americhron movement. It's assembled in the US, but all manufacturing is done by their parent company Tata in India."

Might be worth digging a bit deeper to see what this is all about ... the FTS website gives some hints that the statement is indeed correct:

"FTS works in partnership with Titan Company Ltd (a TATA Group Company), the 5th largest watch company in the world. They deliver perfection and cutting-edge technology to FTS USA. "

Well, the standard accuracy range for a Miyota 9015 is exactly -10 to +30 sec./day.
