nice compact size but strikes me as a fastool (fashion/tool #trademark) by design - not a bad thing as long as the functions work.

The PRW6900 design is not for everyone but as long as it gives you joy that's the important thing.

I have my PRW6600 on leather and in my eye it looks great in every setting - as much under my white shirt double-cuffs as my hiking waterproofs. I have had more comments on this watch than my Omega SMPO 600m.

I can't connect to the 6900 design tbh .. Octagonal-ish metal bezel? Have that already in my MTG-B2000 which is, in my opinion, a more purposeful and tooly-looking instrument.

I do love the legibility of my PRW6600. Sad to see those numerals disappear in the 6900.. I agree the PRW6900 case is different enough to become a classic, but is it loveable enough?

Regardless, the module is fantastic - this is a forever watch.

The case shape is a plain rip-off from the Nixon Scout which was available about 20 years ago and is still available in used condition. I'm not interested at all in Casio ABC's but I wouldn't mind to see a PRW-6900 in full stainless steel as the Nixon Scout was (including a screwed down back plate)
