Saw this release this morning and figured some might be interested. Zenith is releasing a 250 piece limited edition Chronomaster Revival A384 Lupin the Third - Final Edition.

For those that don't know, there were two prior Zenith "Lupin the Third" limited edition releases of the A384, inspired by the Japanese manga/anime character Lupin the Third. The first edition had a black dial, grey subdials, and gold indices and hands. The second edition had a white dial with black subdials.

This final edition splits the dial diagonally, with half of it being in the first edition colorway, and half of it being in the second edition colorway. Definitely a wild look. What do you guys think?

Unless there's something special on the backside, that's a really lazy collab. Is there anything on the watch that suggests Lupin and not "hey we're playing with colors!"? Even if you know of the other two watches?

There's a silhouette of Lupin in black ink over a display caseback - still pretty lazy:

I also, predictably, like the 2nd edition best, though I sort of like the idea that the two chronograph subdials are executed in a different colour on the 1st edition; in fact, I have a chrono that features this, albeit in a less radical execution:

I would have to own the watch for a while to see if I truly like the idea, and I definitely don't have the money to spend on it, so I'll never know.
