Maybe a dumb question, but does anyone know if Kobold will allow customers to switch (buy) the new face or hands for the SEAL? I actually like the new hands and would love the dial to say "Pittsburgh" rather than "Swiss".

My guess is the answer is "No" but thought I would ask.

Kobold might do the hand swap, but I doubt they would swap the dial.

Give them a ring and ask.

Interesting, I am not sure the new hands would work with the old dial however.

Is the face much more difficult to swap than the hands?

I don't think it's the difficulty. It's the fact that your 'Swiss' watch would say 'Pittsburgh', which implies it's a different model in the line.
