Well I found a pair of old leather cowboy boots and I decided to try out making a strap out of them. After cutting the boots apart I found that there was not I piece of leather long enough to make the strap so I had to sew 2 pieces together to get the length i needed. Check it out and let me know what you think. This is also the first time I have tried to sew in a keeper. Thanks

Not necessarily. :) I've had days without comments on some of mine (not that mine are good).

I really like what you did with the sewn-in keeper. It takes away some of the mass associated with a thicker keeper - which I've found sometimes creates a bulge if spaced farther from the buckle. Looks good.

I only wish you had patched the back with even spaced stitches, but other than that, you did a fine job hiding that you needed the extra little piece. I like that you used a patterned piece too - adds character!

Keep up the good work, and don't be discouraged if you don't get comments. :-!
