Hello all. First let me tell you guys that you have a great forum.

My question is if any of you all are familiar with Graham watches, in particular their Chronofighter Oversize Diver Black Seal. I don't know why but this thing kind of just jumps out at me. My concern is I don't know anything about the Graham line or their durability. I wear all my watches and tend to be very tough on them. My second choice would be a GP Seahawk II Pro which I do know will hold up to heavy use. Thanks for any info.

I'd be more inclined to get the swordfish. more classic style pushers. there a highend watch. I'm sure it can take abuse. I don't have any experience with the brand though.
I bhave the Chronofighter Oversize Diver as well as the GP Seahawk II Pro.
The Graham is a monster.

I have not felt the urge to beat the crap out of either of these babies.

I have an SHII Pro but I dunno if I'd wanna be too tough on it tho. It's a great watch. The Graham watches are lovely pieces too but I can't get past their crown protection system, too much like a grenade. Here's a pic of Chrono Fighter Diver. BTW welcome to the forum. ;-)

Great now I just learned of another brand to potentially drain my bank account.

Hi OTC,

Welcome to the Dive Watches Forum! :-!

I don't know a thing about Graham watches, except that they seem to be very high quality. Their overbuilt crown protection designs look bullet proof, but may be an acquired taste for some.

Nice to have you with us. ;-)
I was in Atlantic City and was forced to go to Tourneau where the watch gods tortured me ruthlessly. One of the nicer pieces I saw was the Graham line. They seem really well made, but I can't get past the crown protector.
Sorry but I don't see any comparison between the Graham line and the GP Seahawk II Pro in any way at all. The GP is one of the best Diving watches out there. I do have some problems with the strap attachment system they use and I don't like the bracelet but overall it is still a fantastic watch. I do not see any appeal in any Graham watch whatsoever. That crown monstrosity is the worst looking, low tech thing I have ever seen on a watch. It looks llike some sort of water pump.
OTC- I've had a Graham Chronofighter for about seven years. I have no complaints whatsoever. The chrono mechanism has operated perfectly, keeps great time, substantial strap. People always show great interest in it, as most have never seen anything like it. I'm not that familiar with the other Graham models, other than photos, but the Chronofighter has interesting history to talk to folks about, which is cool.

Hard to compare to a Seahawk. I think they're different animals. Not that I see many GPs around town, but I have yet to see a Graham on someone else's wrist. I like that exclusivity.

I've attached a photo. The usual bad photography excuse applies.. .

Although I have never had a Graham Chrono, I am a big fan o the watch and would not hesitate to buy it. However, abuse would be out of the question.
Gent's thank you for the kind welcome and the great input.
I had a oppurtunity to see the Graham in person and went ahead and pulled the trigger on it. I can see where it's a love it or hate it proposition but the thing just really intrigues me. I don't know if I'll take it diving but it's a definate conversation piece.
I also went ahead and pre-ordered a BR02 Chrono. Did that on looking at a picture of it alone. I'm watch sick againb-)
these are really cool and I love the feel of the pusher system.. feels really great, thing is, I would never buy one at retail, used I suppose

A S, I was able to get close to 38% off retail NIB, with all the papers, warranty, etc. or else I would never had bought it.
Congrats on the purchase!! Please post pics :-! Very nice collection indeed!
good price, and congrats on the awesome crown pusher.
