So I wanted to buy a watch case that could hold all my current watches and have space for a few future ones. Just a few... yeah right. :-d

And I wound up buying a watch winder and a case from Acetimer thru eBay and here are the pics. Granted, a watch winder has nothing to do with Casios but I'll add a few pictures in for good measure.

Now, I needed a case that could accommodate my PAW1500's 50.5mm face as well as my Seiko Orange Monster's width.

The finish is AMAZING. Much better than I thought it'd be for such an inexpensive case.

Notice the clearance between the bottom part of the case and it's lid. It seems large enough to fit even a fat Breitling! :-d

Will it handle my PAW?

The "pillowettes" are made out of good faux leather and seem "pillowy" enough to give in case the watch needed to be tightened to fit inside.

Seiko Monster test? Pass.

Let's fill this puppy up with the rest of my G's. :-!

If they fit, all my others will too. The one thing that concerns me is the fact that most G's have a fairly "hard" curve coming from the watch in order to hug your wrist snugly.

I placed my G-Shocks in there without much attention. Didn't really worry about the way they looked, but just wanted to get them in there. The "hard curve" in the watches definitely made it harder to wrap them around, but not bad enough for me to worry.

Closed shot! Success!! Not only do my G's look... refined... but the rest don't look so shabby either!! :-!

Now, a quick look at the winder.

Same great finish. Fits 5 with 2 on the winding mechanism. The units are actually Acetimer branded, but it still looks GREAT.

Oh and the unit also can run off batteries and came with an Euro adapter as well as a US adapter.

Cheers!

Those look very similar to mine. Go figure. My only difference is I got the quad winder with 5 watch storage.

Congrats!:-!

No problem!
I paid $85 for the winder. I have never seen nor used one before so I need to observe it for a whie and see just how well it does.

So far so good. I really like it. |>

I like it that both look as if they have the same finish. Good choices.
Thank you!

They look redder in person than they do in my pictures and the stock ones I saw. But the finish is BEAUTIFUL. It's really well made. And you can't beat the price.

Brass. Not exactly my favorite material for this but I can't have it all, can I? ;-)

b-) Is that your PAW I saw in there? I've held out on a box because I didn't think the PAWs would fit. I see that they do. Guessing there is enough clearance that the lid does not tap the watch face? Now that I know my fat watches will fit..... you, you.... ENABLER!!! :-x :-d

:-d:-d Why yes, that's my PAW1500-7v. It fits perfectly. Heck, I feel I could fit 2 breitlings stacked up and it should be good to go.

The lid is none the wiser as to what the case holds. There's enough clearance for the PAW and then some. :-!

Nice case. mind shooting me a PM with the seller's info and the price?
No need for PM. The name of the seller is Ace Timer on eBay. The case was $30 and the winder was $90. If I may say so, an exceptional deal!!

Do you think you could post a follow-up review in about month or so? Is it quiet [enough for the bedroom]?

Thanks A Lot,
Chris

No problem. I'm observing it as to be able to tell how well it works with my Orange Monster. I read elsewhere that cheap winders only wind one way and hence wear some of the watch's mechanism off.

So far, I can't hear this sucker at all. Even while next to it.
It is in my bedroom and I think my EL makes more noise. lol

Here is how I store my watches:

The first is a stand I am working on for my atomic/solar watches. This goes near a window, and I get syncs 99% of the time. The two watch boxes came from AceTimer. First one is currently sharing space with the wife until I need more space. The Quad winder works very well. The two winders are independent, so they can be on different schedules. Sometimes I hear it at night (generally only if both are running), but usually not.
