After a long wait (almost a month!), the various mail systems (USPS and Canada Post) finally sorted out the issue and this arrived in my hands.

I already own a Doxa 1000T Project Aware, and this one is just as nice (despite being over 30 years older). Sits just as perfectly on my wrist, and, so far it's been working fine - though with only an hour of wrist time we'll see!

Still - my first vintage dive watch, and I love it. I won't take it under (or even near) the water, and I don't mind it on the leather strap... but I do suspect at some point I'll send it off to get a bit of a sympathetic restoration by Jack at IWW. In particular, I'd like to get the lume reapplied to the missing hour markers. And, of course, if a BOR bracelet shows up, I'll buy it... assuming the price is right.

Without much more - here's a picture with it's much newer (but still vintage look) brother.

Another cool shot - the lume still works (not particularly well), but you get a nice green / blue glow in the dark.

And one more so you can get a sense of wrist size - what an absolutely fabulous vintage dive watch. Picked it up online for, what I think, is a pretty decent deal at $900. Couldn't be happier - seeing it in my watch box along with the other vintage - look dive watches (Doxa and Tudor) is pretty cool.
