Pass.

The world has seen better options for a vice-versa design...

But where's the rotor?? And where's the 1-inch long, crappy stem tube that Xeric is giving you for a huge discount?

IMO Tommy left a lot to be desired with that one.

if they better integrated the movement, and skeletonized the rotor, it could be less terrible

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, it really bubbles out quite a bit. I know I would smash that dome on a door jamb within a week of owning it.

Languages are interesting

Penultimate - the last writing instrument in the drawer
speechless - doesn't talk much
dumbstruck - hit with an idiot stick

But anyway I digress
NO It's not something I had to see BUT

I've lost the link but an apprentice modified a manual wind watch as his final year project. It had the hour minute and second hands coming out at the bottom of the movement.
It actually had a very nice aesthetic to it UNLIKE the OP topic.

If anyone finds the link please post here as I would like to see it again.

It's different, so I give it a pass. Better than another lazy and badly designed sub homage or huge minimalist dress watch.

Not for me, but I'm not going to get angry about it.

Perrelet has been putting the rotor out front many years before.
