Awesome watch! And I'm a big fan of Elgin (I had 2:) )

How did you manage to buy a vintage watch on this forum? It's not allowed to make sales posts here on f11. But if you go to a proper place https://www.watchuseek.com/f29/ then it's filled with modern stuff. I doubt any vintage collectors even look there.

I'm asking because it's time for me to sell few vintage watches. I would love to do it on this forum to avoid eBay that just introduced sales tax for everybody in US.

Plenty of vintage watches bought and sold on the sales forums.

Never waste time searching the sales forum though. WatchPatrol or Watchrecon are both websites that consolidate the sales forums (including Omega, Rolex, and German forums not associated with WUS). It makes the posts searchable by many criteria.

This explains! Thank you, SethThomas! So all I need to do is list my watches in the the proper section here and vintage collectors will find them using watchrecon/watchpatrol. This solves the mystery.
