Doesn't seem obvious to me either. If I was placing a bet, it would be on the two pads in the lower right.
After the battery is in, take your tweezers and just start touching stuff. Touch the silver pads you can see on the PCB below to all the other silver pads and maybe even the top of the battery or the strap. Each time, check the display to see if it's turned on or reset. (If it's already on and appears to be functioning correctly, then you probably don't need to worry about an AC reset anyway.)
Seems really lackadaisical, but that's how I do it.
