When your collection is getting out of hand, there are two main issues:

1. Batteries deplete
2. Dates are off

I can't fix one, so I'm fixing two. Show me your no-date affordables! Here are mine:

This thread kicks ass. I effing' LOATHE date windows with the infernal lambent flames of hell. Yet most of my watches have one on them, because, you almost can't find a new watch without one anymore, and for me, it's a MASSIVE concession.

Watches looks so lovely and balanced without date windows. Clean, tight, and full of purpose. And lastly - symmetry!

Beautiful watches - all of them.

I've been saving up for a Hamilton H69429931 (38mm khaki field, no date), but still a long way out, and I have a few other hobbyist needs that are coming first. Still, I can't wait. I love my little SNKN33 (it's the Seiko 5 variant of this watch), but that blasted day/date complication irks the snot out of me!

I also love the way the Oyster Perpetual, Air King, and other watches of that similar layout and design look without a day and/or date complication. I'd love it if my SARBs didn't have a date window. Then they'd be the PERFECT watch for me...
