My lovely wife knows I'm slowly getting into watches and got me a Jack Spade Stillwell Cream Quartz for Xmas that looks good (see below).

However, I'm looking to swap it out for an automatic model at around the same price (say under $4-500). I already have a Hamilton Jazzmeister Thinline Quartz, a Christopher Ward C5 Malvern MKII Auto, an old Movado and a no-name military model I inherited from my uncle with Japanese movement (I think).

So what would you recommend I look for? I like the looks of the Hamilton Valiant, the Laco Valencia and a few others.

Any assistance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers! :)

Might also check out Tissot, Edox, Archimede, and Certina for other autos in your price range.

Thanks for the recommendations, I had been looking at Archimede and am also starting to appreciate the Junkers look (especially the Junkers Spitzbergen F13 Automatic and the Bauhaus).

Any thoughts on them?
