For example the marine master says 26 jewels with hack in the store description.

"Hacking" means the second hand stops when you pull the crown to set the time.

I believe it means the second hand can be made to stop by pulling out the crown.
Ok so seiko makes it this way? I'm sorry for the silly questions. Hack has another meaning to me. Lol.

many automatics are made this way. my omega hacks but in my citizen and seiko the second hand just keep running. i don't mind either way but the hacking makes it easier to set time to the second...

Here in the U.K. hacking is something do do with riding horses about. From a watch point of view a hacking movement is one where the second hand stops when you pull the crown out to set the time. Not all movements do this so manufacturers that produce both types tend to mention is the watch contains a hacking movement.
