Hi all,
as i said in my fist post here, i am a great Hamilton Fan, and in the last 2 weeks i have had several good deals that i will show you little by little.
let's start with this : Is a Vintage Hamilton Khaki 9415, Hand Wind, 33 mm case, plexiglass, with original leather strap and buckle, found in an hamilton store showcase... it still has the original tag whit Price in "Lire", the old italian currency....
i have paid it 120€, and i am super happy, because now i have the original and true hamilton khaki, that compared with the modern version is very different, for example is thinner, the shape is more gentle and soft, and fits better to my wrist.
i have changed the strap with a nato one, that i prefer because give to the watch the military styile that it deserve.
Now i would like to have more informations about this watch, so here are some questions for you :
1)Wich movement is inside?
2)Can you confirm me that this watch is from the late 90's?
3)It has never been used, so i think that after about 20 years the movement is not perfectly oiled; do you think that i can safely use it just the same, or i should service it? Is there a middle way service that allow me to let it run safely without spend 150€ for a full service, that is much than i paid the complete watch?
Thak you for the attention, and sorry if my english is not perfect!
G.P.
