Hi fellow Omega aficionados,
I have an Omega ref. 166.054 and I since I have it the bezel, that is bi-directional, is very stiff. It can be adjusted, but with some force.
Do any of you that have this watch or have knowledge about this model know if this is a security feature used back in the day before the unidirectional bezel came along mass market, so that the bezel would not turn accidentally.
Just wondering if the next time I service it, I should insist that the watchmaker have a closer look at this.

I don't have that watch, so I'm not sure how stiff it is supposed to be, but if it feels like it should be turning easier, you could try lubricating it with some simple 3 in 1 oil or something like that.

Pretty sure it was unidirectional and there was no bezel lock in this one
