Hello all,
A friend of a friend of mine has offered me a watch to buy. She calls it "An Omega Cartier 18k presented and engraved in 1963." From the picture she sent, it appears to be a tank watch. I have not received the watch yet, but was just wondering if there's any such thing as an Omega Cartier--guess you can tell I'm rather new at this-but I thought they were separate companies. Maybe they work in conjunction with each other like Tiffany and the companies who make watches for them. If anyone has any information, I would surely appreciate it! Jack.

No, but Omega made hommages to the iconic Cartier Tank. As most other companies.

Yes. An innovative, high class design is usually copied. By a lot od companies, from top brands like Omega to the likes of Alpha.
