Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well. I recently bought this watch from a private seller. The watch model is 151.0050 Deville, but it has Seamaster written on the dial.
I know that for some models both Deville and Seamaster are written on the dial as De Ville is a spun-off collection from Seamaster series. However, this dial only has Seamaster written on it, and all of the 151.0050 models I find online only have De Ville written on the dial.

I bought this because this is a unique dial with North Korean dictator's name written on it. The seller told me that everything on this watch is original.

I understand its very hard to tell the authenticity of the watch only by looking at the dial. I would really appreciate it if you can share your experience of collecting / finding these abnormal dials in the second-hand market.

It is an obvious redial. Have you seen another watch with the "Omega" on the bottom part of the dial?

thanks for the reply cb1111. do you think its still worth applying for extract from omega archive paying CHF 120? or i just cut loss now and move on.

North Korea requested Omega to engrave their leader's name on the top of the watch.
You can find examples of these watches online. Omega written on the bottom.
