Today I am offering my late 60's Omega Geneve Dynamic. Based on research, and the movement being Calibre number: 552, among other things, I believe this watch to be from one of the first production runs of the Omega Geneve Dynamics. All original and in excellent condition. One of the best original examples of the Dynamic that I've ever seen. Many that you see online for sale are either in terrible shape or have been refurbished. I purchased this watch form an online estate sale in California years ago. It has been stored in my safe and never worn outside of the house.

The watch is in excellent condition for being over 40 years old. The face and hands are all original and do show some patina, as expected. It still has some lume left but it's faint. The case has never been polished. It still has it's original deep grained sunburst finish. The caseback has the original linear grain finish and stamped at 6 o'clock with "Tool 107" and "Waterproof". The "Crystal" has a few light scratches but are not noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch is powered by Omega's Calibre 552 24 jewel automatic movement. The movement runs strong and starts ticking almost immediately upon handling the watch.

Included is the ORIGINAL, authentic, Corfam (Artificial leather) strap. There are NO creases in the original strap, as it has never been worn! I believe this in itself is a RARE piece, especially in it's condition! The watch is currently mounted on an aftermarket strap, which I purchased in order to preserve the original.

Also included is an ORIGINAL bracelet. The bracelet shows some age, such as dings here and there, but I believe this gives it character. Personally, I don't want to wear a 40+ year old watch with a bracelet that looks brand new. As it stands, I believe the bracelet will fit about a 7 1/2"-7 3/4" wrist. I will include 1 extra link. It seems to have been polished at some point in it's life. For full disclosure, I wanted to mention that it took a little work to remove the one link I removed. I believe the screws may be either somewhat stripped or have never been removed in over 40 years and may be "corroded", for lack of a better word. I'm confident you could remove a couple of the links if needed, with a little patience.

This is an awesome watch and I am a little reluctant to get rid of it. It would be a great addition to your watch collection!

WAS $1100, NOW $950 OBO CONUS (includes PP fees and CONUS shipping via USPS). The sale includes the watch, original strap, original bracelet (all links), and aftermarket strap. I believe this watch should increase in value over the years! Own a piece of History!

Q: There are lots of these watches on eBay that are cheaper than yours!
A: I know there are many out there on eBay, many of which are not original and have been made to look new by polishing or repainting the watch face. There are a couple out there of original quality. I personally, haven't come across one with an original corfam strap, much less both the strap and bracelet.

Q: Most of the ones for sale on eBay have the Date Day/Date function. Why doesn't this one?
A: There are many different versions of the Dynamic that were produced throughout the late 60s and 70s, 13 to my knowledge. Most of the versions/collections included the Date or Date/Day functions. Only 2 out of the 13 did not include Date or Date/Day, making this a pretty rare piece.
