If you are planning to keep the watch maybe a very light polish to make the sharp edge a bit softer ? Or just change for one without Hippocampus?
Tried the moleskin...didn’t help. I really don’t want to mess with changing the case back and therefore the water resistance. Thank you for all the comments. Here it is if anyone is interested.

I've owned a few Speedies in the past too, and it was the Pro that irritated my wrist too. Especially when I used my arm a lot for any type of activity. Very sore and raw feeling after jogging.
Many moons ago I had a watch that gave me sore skin around my wrist, probably due to high nickel content. My local watchmaker had some adhesive-backed padding that he put on the caseback. It really helped. Have you checked with a watchmaker?
