I love Speedmasters. And always thought it’d be cool to have a Seamaster with the classic Speedmaster case. I tried the 60th series but that didn’t scratch the itch. So I bought one last year from Lewis Watch Works. I’ve bought from him before and his quality is impeccable. Below are the specs.

$3800 NET. USA shipping only. No trades.

I wore less than 10 times. Condition is VG. Easily.

First photo and movement shot is his. Rest are mine.

Will come on a grey NATO or I can include a 1171 remake from US for $75 or a real deal for an additional $400.

From the original sales description:

Omega Seamaster 300 LWC Build

Case - New, inside case back engraved inside with build details and serial.
Caliber - 551 Chronometer grade
Dial - New, Luminova

Work completed;
This SM300 has been built a little differently to the others I have produced, there's no applied patina and so it has very bright lume. Also different is the use of a Cal 551 which is the chronometer spec equivalent of the 552. Now, the only real change between the two movements was a slightly better balance.
I have never come across a 551 or 751 that keeps time to within modern chronometer specification. And so it is this with this example, timekeeping is within ten seconds a day, your wearing patterns may produce a slightly better or worse result. I say this because I do not want anyone to expect more than what these 60 year old movements are realistically capable of simply because they were once given a chronometer grade.

This particular movement is in near perfect cosmetic condition and as such was an excellent candidate to place into this new case!

Completely assembled and tested at the LWC workshop using 100% genuine Omega parts. The watch is water resistant to the factory 200m rating.
