I received this in a trade. It's an 18K / Titanium chronograph. When I checked the serial number (50014100) it came back as being made in 1986. I thought this model came out in 1993. Did I get scammed? Thanks

Probably not. My SMP Chrono is from 98, in titanium. You're probably fine, but take it to a watchmaker authenticate.

I used several different sources but they all had the same spreadsheet. Bob's Watches, Thewatchstandard, serial number decoder, and a few others.
