The Omega Speedmaster Automatic Ref. 3510.50 is commonly known as the “Reduced” because it shares the majority of its design with the larger Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch but in a smaller package. Measuring 38.5mm in diameter, the case shares the same twisted lugs with mixed brushed and polished finishing, black tachymeter bezel, and hesalite crystal as the larger Speedmaster Professional. The dial retains a similar layout to its big brother with triple registers and a matte black surface with white printing and luminous hour markers. Where the Reduced also differs is in its movement, as the watch is powered by the Omega caliber 1140 automatic chronograph movement versus the hand wound unit in the Professional.

This example of the Reference 3510.50 Speedmaster Automatic "Reduced" is in excellent condition, is completely original down to the unpolished case and tritium dial and hands with great patina, and just had a fresh movement service in September 2019.

Take a look at the photos and our condition description below:

Case: 38.5mm stainless steel case in very good condition as pictured with sharp edges and thick lugs and appears unpolished. There are minor signs of wear throughout the case commensurate with use but no major blemishes.

Bezel: Original tachymeter bezel in very good condition with very minimal signs of wear as pictured.

Dial/Hands: Dial is original matte black tritium in excellent condition with intact lume plots and a pleasing even patina on the hour markers. Hands are also original tritium with a patina that matches the dial.

Caseback: Original hippocampus stamped caseback in very good condition as pictured with nice crisp engravings including the 53 million serial number.

Crystal: OEM Omega hesalite crystal in excellent condition with some minor surface wear as pictured.

Movement: Caliber 1140 automatic chronograph movement. 53 million serial number dates production to the 1990s. The watch runs great and keeps good time, with all movement functions working as intended, including chronograph start, stop, and return to zero. Movement was just serviced in September 2019.

Bracelet/Strap: Original Omega reference 1469 bracelet with 813 end links in very good condition as pictured. Bracelet will fit up to an 8" wrist comfortably.

Accessories: None, sold as watch only.
