I'd go for the Omega. Timeless, well known history and a lot let common
Settle down, chaps. It's not worth taking the thread down the tubes over.Come on man, your entire post was about how you feel about the watch which is fine because it's subjective by nature. However, isn't calling other posters opinions "delusional" or telling them they have their "panties in a bunch" or calling people "keyboard hero's" the exact demolishing and belittling that you're talking about?
I'm okay with that, but I am a huge Breaking Bad fanI wonder if the Walter White thing is going to impact this watch's popularity. How many of the new generation care about Steve McQueen?
Haha, I wouldn't disagree with you on that one either.Yes artificial connections... *cough* James Bond *cough*
;-) :-d
I'm 32 and I love McQueen but I grew up watching his movies with my Dad. I haven't seen Breaking Bad yet but everyone raves about it.I wonder if the Walter White thing is going to impact this watch's popularity. How many of the new generation care about Steve McQueen?
I wouldn't be so sure about that.It could be a pro or con depending on your POV but the Monaco is a much better deal on the secondary market.
I thought Archer mentioned $700usd as expensive for a chronograph service in another thread about the DD module.£1000? Are you sure, that doesn't sound right
how much was that Carrera back then?Going back maybe eight years to ten years ago, I was quoted £250 for a service on my Carrera (same DD module) from TH themselves.
