Hi Guys, I would like your opinions on this Omega. The details are below. I'm after opinions as to its value. It was a gift, I'm not sure wether I will keep it or not. It's a beautiful watch but, I never wear it as I do alot of electrical work. When I do wear a watch I wear my Seamaster. What would a watch like this command on the second hand market. I have searched for hours trying to find a similar item but, have had no luck what so ever. Any help would be great. Thanks for your time

There is a post here with a lot of information on the Omega Tresor line from the late 1950's

https://www.watchuseek.com/f20/1956-omega-tresor-ot-2866-a-385330.html

You'll find pictures of a reference 2709 there, which I think is the same case as your watch, except with a sub-seconds movement rather than a center seconds as yours.

I really don't have an idea of value beyond the obvious gold in the case. Certainly the guilloche engraved dial in great condition adds a small premium to the value.

Still a very attractive Omega, :-!

I love how people look to sell their gifts.

Have you searched eBay for completed listings?
