Hello WatchUSeek

Up for sale is a very rare Omega CK2292 from 1943/44. It is in extremely good condition with a nice patina forming on the dial slowly. The case is 33mm width excluding the crown. The dial is all original and has not been touched or refinished in any way. The acrylic crystal does have some scratches on it but that can be buffed out by applying polywatch. I haven’t touched the touched in any way since I got it.

The movement is a 30T2SC with a 10 million serial number. The seller I bought it from claimed that it was serviced in December of 2019( I don’t have paperwork to prove authenticity). It is keeping time at 10-12 seconds per day(YMMV). It is a manual hand wind non hacking movement.
The crown is non original though as was pointed out to me by a fellow group member.
The original case came with soldered lugs but someone did make holes in the case so that aftermarket straps can be used with the watch.

The watch is a recase by Denison so there are no military markings on the watch. Denison used to supply the cases for the British military.

I am passing this on to a fellow enthusiast who can cherish this piece.
I had the movement checked out by the local Omega Boutique and the watchmaker there gave me a thumbs up regarding authenticity. His timegrapher showed 11s per day.

Fratello Watches did a nice article on this very same watch.

This watch is the less glamorous cousin of the Omega CK2129 which Tom hardy wore in the movie Dunkirk.

Shipping via USPS first class. Only in CONUS. May ship to Canada at additional cost.

Price: $1350. Offers welcome but please no lowball offers.

Payment: Paypal

The watch comes with a very gently used saffiano leather strap. I will send this watch in a third party box.

I have been selling here for a while now and you can find my references in r/watchexchangefeedback. I have also sold in watchuseek forums under the username dmukherjee18.
