Or it’s stolen and someone needs cash really fast (drugs?).Nobody really drops the price of a quality watch by that much unless he is sat outside a casino.
Or its not real and is looking for someone gullible or stupid enough to buy it.
I found this speed master on Facebook. I have not clue if it’s real or not. He wants $1000 he recently cut the price from 3k. The watch does not come with box and papers. Would probably needs a service. The seller seems like a semi decent middle aged man. Any opinions on this.

I see now. That makes sense. Sorry about thatNot what I meant, but that’s not a bad approach either. I meant, generally speaking, if one is not well versed enough to spot tell tale signs of a fake, for their own sake, they really shouldn’t even be trying to buy a naked pre-owned luxury watch through a private seller to begin with.
You want the OP to participate in an illegal transaction? This isn't a "decent fake" - it is an obvious counterfeit to anyone who has seen a Speedy. It’s actually a decent fake tho. Offer him $250. If you don’t mind wearing a fake.
Oh yea.. I’m extremely concerned about the OP getting busted for buying a used fake watch. I’m sure the FBI will get right on that. Lol 😂You want the OP to participate in an illegal transaction? This isn't a "decent fake" - it is an obvious counterfeit to anyone who has seen a Speedy.
Good decision. Often when one lets price drive the purchase, not the love of wanting the watch, usually ends poorly. It’s decided, imma pass thanks to all that responded.
Very true, but “thewatchidiot”…are you the YouTuber?Good decision. Often when one lets price drive the purchase, not the love of wanting the watch, usually ends poorly.
Yeah, you're right. It isn't a big deal 18 U.S. Code § 2320 - Trafficking in counterfeit goods or services | U.S. Code | US Law | LII / Legal Information Institute (cornell.edu)Oh yea..
