I really like the Max Bill Regulator but have no experience with German watches. Is it worth it? Also, anyone know what the service price is on these?

It's good watches. But the sticker prices don't match with what you're getting. Heavy discounts are normal with Junghans. Try to get a used one.

I am a big fan as well. I am waiting for the secondary market prices to come down some more before I pull the trigger.
