Mine was purchased from DutyFreeIsland in June this year. It has just 'Japan' on the face and 'Made In Japan' on the back.

Build quality and accuracy are good, and longevity should be fine as most Orients are fairly robust (I have some from 60s/70s which run fine). I replaced the strap mainly because I only have a 6.5" wrist (nearly all watches are supplied with long rather than medium straps) and I hate a long 'tail', so it now has a medium with a deployment clasp.

Thanks for the reply. The one in my photo says "Japan Movt", and I don't think there is "Made in Japan" on the back. Another example here showing the back

I wonder if yours is old stock?

I apologise, mine is actually a EZ09006W the rose gold model. I just checked on DutyFreeIsland and some models show 'Japan Movt' whilst others like the EZ09002S show just 'Japan'. :-s
