Hey Everyone! I hope everyone had a merry Christmas/ Holiday Season. Anyway, I am looking for an affordable orange diver. I found this SBS diver for $70 shipped. It has a swiss quartz movement, which is nice because I do not yet have any swiss watches. I know alot of people like the OM but I like to be different. Do you all like the PVD or the satin finish?

THANKS!!

I have the yellow version, since appropriated by my older son :-d
To replace it I bought a Seiko yellow auto diver.

I have 4 of Ray's watches (Kronos), they all are nice for the $.

If I get another orange one it would be the "poor man's Doxa", ie the Zeno orange Army diver.

Cheers,
Griff

I've had the PVD version of this watch for a couple months. It's had lots of wrist time and the finish is still perfect. I like the fact that the NATO strap has a matching PVD buckle. The movement is supposedly swiss but don't mistake it for a "swiss watch". It's most definitely assembled in China. Regardless, they are cheap, durable and extremely accurate pieces. In fact I ordered a second watch from Ray's Ebay shop on Christmas day- a black faced, satin model with a olive strap. Should be killer!
