I've been going over ideas for my next watch, a modded orange monster from yobokies. I definitely plan on switching the orange chapter ring to a black chapter ring, but I just can't decide on the hands.

I would really like to get Harold's black plongeur hands, with the seconds hand tipped orange, but I know the lume on the plongeurs won't be as good as the stock hands. What would you do? Put the plongeur hands on? Or keep them stock and just have the seconds hand tipped orange?

Not an option for me. When I got my BM, I just couldn't get past the off-white color of the hands, so I had Bob Thayer paint them blue.

I just sent my OM off for modding and am having it bead blasted. Can't part with the Monster Lume so am having nothing done to the dial or hands.

Actually, Yobokies' black plongeur hands in the c3 lume do a fine job of matching Seiko's lume. They shine just as bright and have great duration on its lume.

So, I say go for the plongeur hands.
