Hey all,

Looking at strap options for my PO, I wanted something that I could adjust on the move (purchased it on steel) and one which would fit into the case with no gaps so I figured I'd go OEM, with a twist.

So I present Orange PO8500, on OEM black rubber with orange stitching (I tried to search for someone that has done the same and posted pics but couldn't find anything):

Analog watch Watch Wrist Watch accessory Fashion accessory

What do we think?

It was a gamble but I think it works, however I'd like the input of you guys as I may be forcing myself to think its nice because it was quite expensive to order (for a strap).

Cheers

I run this exact combination as my '#1 watch', and love it. I think I posted pics... somewhere here. ;)

It lives in roughly a 2:1 rotation with my Omega/Watchco 200m SHOM on black Isofrane as my #2, and then a few others get occasional wrist time also as pinch-hitters.

Anyhow, Orange PO8500 on the Omega black/orange rubber with deployant is IMHO a near-perfect combination - comfortable, attractive, nice enough to wear with anything short of a tuxedo (if you can handle the orange!), casual enough to wear with anything at all, and the deployant clasp is an absolute joy.

I'd love this to death regardless, but frankly, the lack of micro-adjustment on the regular PO8500 bracelet makes it a bit awkward for me - I just can't seem to get a truly comfy fit with it. The little bit of 'give' in the rubber seems to make a huge difference in my daily comfort.

ahh cool ill try and find them, but what u have said is exactly what I was thinking about esp the extra give, compared to the steel which can become tight for me when exercising (swimming eg).
